This No. 351-tan Whip-o-Lite shade dates to 1943 and was also available in No. 350-white. The color designations refer not to the color of the shade itself, but to the color of the scroll work that surrounds the flowers and the lattice work in the design. The 14 inch shade was designed to be used on table, hanging, and bracket lamps, as were most other 14 inch Whip-o-Lite shades.
